RE: Liverpool City Region Bus Franchising
I'll say it on this forum as well, if there's one thing that needs to be revised it's those awkward 35-40 minute ecc, frequencies, routes like the 34/34A/80/80A/409 & so on, they are hard to remember without looking at the timetable, each route really should be every 30 minutes, with 34/34A/80/80A combined to every 15 minutes. The 34 used to be every 20 minutes [combined to every 10 minutes with the 34A] before covid, it's been every 40 minutes since 2022 & you have to memorize the timetable particularly if you need to travel in the peaks. |

Not yet, but if Birkenhead & St Helens are getting completely new fleets, it's going to be a fait bit over 200......although maybe Stagecoach may move some stuff in from Gillmoss to St Helens once the electrics enter service??? https://www.flickr.com/photos/dmc1947/ |

I'd have thought maybe new deckers for the 10 and 10A at least and then the rest of the fleet at St Helens a mixture of new and Stagecoach cast offs similar to what happened in Manchester. Was jcksmnr |

I would guess Stagecoach will send in some of there own vehicles on loan possibly some Arriva vehicles as well until enough new vehicles have been delivered I don’t see Arriva selling any off apart from the Metro liveried MMCs. None of the Metro MMCs are being sold. The 16 at Laird Street are planned to go to Runcorn. |

RE: Liverpool City Region Bus Franchising
Does anyone know when we can expect the consultation on the Liverpool, Knowsley and Sefton routes? |

Has a confirmed list for Wirral and St Helens routes been published yet or still not finalised? Also when do the Liverpool depots get announced? |

RE: Liverpool City Region Bus Franchising
I have seen the listing you referred to TIM33160. Not very accurate with 81A showing Liverpool City Centre to the Airport. Shows the same on the Sefton list. Anyone with a little knowledge of the network would know the 81A serves Bootle New Strand to the airport via Queens Drive, Woolton and Hunts Cross. |
