I can’t personally say that Moreton to West Kirby requires more than 3 buses per hour, the current buses usually pass by empty bus stops |

One thing i will say, when the Bee Network became active they kept what they already had & reviewed the network afterwards, & most of the changes have been renumberings, that is what should have happened here, kept what they have & do network review at a later date not what feels like both at the same time. |

The Bee Network routes were drawn up before Little Gem collapsed, and they didn't initially include any provision for Warrington's Own Buses operating subsided services in Greater Manchester, or the Bee Network extending out to Warrington. That meant the X5 Warrington to Manchester Airport was split into three routes! |

One thing I have noticed and not sure if it's been brought up the historic 129 will be no more once franchising happens it's not even on the list Sure I read something a while ago saying that it has to run due to the nature of the route This begs the question why wasn't it withdrawn years ago as it's a pointless 1 trip once a week route from memory no one ever gets it as loads of operators have operated it since first (Ace Travel, Impera, Stagecoach, Eazibus, A2B and I'm sure Cumfybus did briefly at one stage) |

Although it hasn't run quite as long as the 129, similarly there is no mention of the 111 in St Helens. Previously this was an hourly service that was withdrawn bar the one journey in the review of 2016 (it currently works onto the 137). |

FYI - Operators of the 129 since 1986 have been Merseybus, Crosville, First, ACE Travel, Eazibus, A2B Travel, Stagecoach and back to A2B Travel who operate it at the moment. The 129 has picked up passengers at times, especially when it gets in front of a 3A/423. |

RE: Liverpool City Region Bus Franchising
The 129 should have been withdrawn years ago, i've never seen anyone on it, & i live near midway through the route, it's only 1 journey each way Sunday afternoon, & you have 35 minutes at Frankby, that most visitors would either drive or get a bus/train & change to the 437 [or maybe 22 Monday to Saturday if changing at West Kirby], i don't get the reason it keeps running. |
