RE: Lancashire County Council Service Changes
Not sure how true this may be, but I found this whilst looking at the 310's route variations on Bustimes...

(From February 1st 2026)
'Every other trip cut short at Ormskirk MF/SA Daytime'

RE: Lancashire County Council Service Changes
I'm not surprised very few passengers travel across Ormskirk on the 310, & with the 375/385 now every 20 minutes, the 310 feels redundant over that section.

Not just that, but also Lancashire County Council have thrown the 311 over to Ormskirk too so people who previously would have gone into Concourse and then travel back out on the 310/375/385 may now have a direct bus to Ormskirk from the Skem estates.

Surely Arriva would just be better re-routing the 310 and doing something different with it, rather than following the 375/385 around Old Skem. Arrivas commercial team clearly have no skills in trying to turn around services or do anything different. Just chop, chop, chop. Easier to make cuts than it is to innovate the routes.

RE: Lancashire County Council Service Changes
Preston Bus have announced they won't take part in the £3 single fare cap next year, and will charge £3.50 for singles. I'm not sure what the reasoning is behind that?

The strange thing is evening and Sunday services contracted by LCC will still have the lower £1 fare cap!
