Trains can depart within 3 minutes of each other from Chester towards Mickle Trafford Jct (see 11:52 ATW LLD to MIA and 11:55 NT CTR - MAN). It does mean though that if there is a slight delay to the Liverpool train, the Manchester one will also be affected. It will likely result in Helsby being 1 minute later on the 16:20 & 17:20 Manchester services.

I can't wait to see the Boards. Who else is expecting 'South Parkway' to be shown on the LED screens? It won't show Liverpool Lime Street surely as the Merseyrail train goes at xx:15 so people will all be trying to use this Wales and Borders services with the cheap tickets (MTravel saveaway and £5 returns) which won't be valid.
