A bit disappointed the 423 is going to be replaced by the 413, as i find it handy having an Evening & Sunday through bus from Moreton to Liverpool, last 407 from Liverpool is 18.50, also means no route through Town Meadow area Evening & Sunday other than the Moreton Circular. |

Looks like an hourly evening and Sunday 417(17) service will be replacing the half hourly 423 service around Town Meadow. The Moreton circulars are useless unless you want to travel half way round Moreton and Saughall Massie to get somewhere near the Town Meadow estate. These routes already carry fresh air, especially in the evening as the driver doesn't even put on internal lighting as nobody gets on it. |

Didn't see the 417 [17] going to Evening & Sunday, but every 60 minutes when the current 423 is every 30 is a downgrade in that area. |

I also don't get the 408 Liscard - Seacombe Circular when all obvious routes between the 2 are covered |

RE: Liverpool City Region Bus Franchising
One of the forthcoming 'METRO' Electroliners has been sighted on test at Wrightbus carrying the fleetnumber 52427.....which presumably is the Go North West fleetnumber (all Go Ahead buses are allocated 5 digit fleetnumbers, however most don't carry them, only Oxford does in the 8**** series and East Yorkshire in the 2**** series). Stagecoach's Electroliners (all in London so far) are 82***. HTH https://www.flickr.com/photos/dmc1947/ |

The 405/406 have a minimum of 15 minutes layover based on the new proposed hourly frequency and current route and current journey times. On a PVR 2 that gives a maximum of 30 minutes of layover that could be used to head off somewhere else For example from Liscard Cresent: Bus 1: 0900 - 405 0945 - 406 1030 - 408 1100 - 405 and so on… Bus 2: 0930 - 408 1000 - 405 1045 - 406 and so on… |
