The 08:12 departure is always still parked at the lay-over area at about 08:15-08:20-ish when I'm on my 311, despite the bus coming from the depot... I've only noticed that it's left at about 08:12 once when it was Pulsar 2 MX10 DAA (3047) sometime last week.(25/09/2012 23:17)skemnational Wrote: I think you will find we are running late on that service due to fact St. Helens drivers don't do the 395 correctly last week we had a driver in southport complaining that there was a395 in Ormskirk on the stand with his door shut while passengers were waiting to board then the 375 pulled in 10 mins late and was left to board the passengers which made him even later,395 drivers always mess bout that's why there's always a St. Helens supervisior watching them at Ormskirk, when it was run by skem we helped each otherIf they're on the stand and not yet loading then that suggests that perhaps they're not due out yet? The Ex Skem drivers dont do it,Im not being un fair mate im just telling what drivers have reported to our General Manager,Whether the 395 not due out it still should load passengers we do we get there up to 7 mins early some times we dont shut the doors and say were not loading til 1 minute before we go if the 395 gets say 5 mins drop back time in Ormskirk that is for loading passengers if Arriva wanted you to have 1 min to load passengers they would only give you 1 min,Its the same at concourse we and 395 get 5 mins there they dont do it there RE: Arriva North West - Southport Depot - motormayhem - 26/09/2012 09:33 we get 10 mins drop back, but its unfair to say the intention that all drivers do it as there is only 4 original st helens drivers who are on there, the rest are ex skem. when ive been on there ive helped anyone i can out but the same can be said about the 375/385 when they park up in wigan and get off to have a smoke or cup of coffee and leave the 352 to pick everyone up for between wigan and orrell post which is causing us to be late so its not fair to call one depot when the other depot does the same at the other end. The supervisor up at ormskirk is there for all three depots southport, bootle and st helens and is there to keep things running smoothly and to check on road works etc. RE: Arriva North West - Southport Depot - skemnational - 26/09/2012 10:34 Ok I apologise for making out its all drivers motormayhem but there is a certain few who do it but you do get drivers like yourself and myself that work together and make it easier,as for our drivers doing it in Wigan I genrelly don't mayby only when I need the loo RE: Arriva North West - Southport Depot - motormayhem - 26/09/2012 12:01 thats the thing,u will get the odd one in every garage who thinks of themselves before anything else. RE: Arriva North West - Southport Depot - H101GEV - 26/09/2012 19:07 4100 and 4106 were both on the 43/46 today. That means at least two substitutes on the 375/85, although noisy 4104 was at least on its adopted home route. I think the picking up of passengers or sometimes the case not , boils down to if drivers want an easy ride out of which direction they are coming from . RE: Arriva North West - Southport Depot - MPTE1955 - 26/09/2012 19:31 47/48 Branded pulsar on 300 this afternoon, forgotten exactly which one but might have been 3040. At least 2 Renowns (usually utilised on the 300) parked up in the garage today. 48 featured one non branded example. |
