A friend of mine said he was told that the driver was taken away in an ambulance from London Street, but I cannot confirm that. Hope all ok. http://www.otsnews.co.uk/rtc-hoghton-street-southport/ RE: Arriva North West - Southport Depot - Vbg111v - 12/08/2014 16:05 (12/08/2014 09:23)DEM777Y Wrote: http://www.otsnews.co.uk/rtc-hoghton-street-southport/Thanks DEM. It looks like the battery flap took the majority of the damage, probably knocked the batteries out, hence it getting towed. I wonder how all the damage to the emergency door area happened. Anyway looks easily fixable. RE: Arriva North West - Southport Depot - DEM777Y - 12/08/2014 19:47 (12/08/2014 16:05)Vbg111v Wrote: Thanks DEM. Anyway looks easily fixable. If you look closely at the photo of the car involved, you can see that it has n/s/r damage as well. I'd imagine that it bounced off the battery flap of the bus and the collided with it again, this time around the emergency door. RE: Arriva North West - Southport Depot - wirralbus - 13/08/2014 11:47 What do Southport usually place on the Southport Flower Shuttle services , also during that event what is the arrangements for the Park and Ride services that usually operate from the parking ride opposite the showground. RE: Arriva North West - Southport Depot - H101GEV - 13/08/2014 17:04 The last few years have seen Pulsars on the Flower Show services, which comprise the 27 (Southport railway station to the Showground) and the unnumbered Park & Ride service. Southport normally receives a few buses from elsewhere to cover its main routes during this period. A few years ago, the 4012-4020 batch of DB250s made their service début with ANW on the Flower Show services before passing to Manchester.
