RE: Transport for Wales Rail - boby32 - 10/12/2018 18:55 The RTT's timetable does not match with the website's timetable. For instance, in the link below, http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/search/advanced/CTR/2018/12/10/1930?stp=WVS&show=all&order=wtt there is a departure time from Chester at 1910 to Crewe arriving at 1930. In the website's timetable, https://tfwrail.wales/sites/tfwrail.wales/files/2018-11/PTT%204%202.pdf (see page 17) the departure time from Chester is at 1855 to Crewe arriving at 1918. RE: Transport for Wales Rail - mikestone - 10/12/2018 21:44 This has happening under short term planning arrangements for months, going back pre-TfW - the 18.55 from Chester has been running later formed by the incoming 15.10 Swansea - the set off the 18.23 from Crewe going empty to the Junction. ; I first spotted it after bolting my pint to catch the 18.55 - but that's insignificant compared to the fact it breaks the London connection at Crewe, which I am pretty sure was part of ATWs train service spec. This has occurred since the double 175 set on 1750 Manchester-Holyhead with a portion for Llandudno that split at Junction became a single unit. The 150 goes ECS to Junction to cover the trips into town. RE: Transport for Wales Rail - mikestone - 14/12/2018 20:54 Website says full service from Monday - the aforementioned change continues though. RE: Transport for Wales Rail - mikestone - 29/12/2018 00:44 ATW May 2019 times now in RTT - different to the times in the TAA but still with two hour evening gap. We have the new Chester-Liverpool. http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/P75389/2019/06/03/advanced http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/P76058/2019/06/03/advanced but I think there will be some modifications. Paths look right to me The Liverpool-Chester path is correct please ignore that. The modification I was referring to is that for example the 1855 service from Chester to Crewe (arriving at 1918) could be rescheduled to 1910 (arriving to Crewe at 1930). RE: Transport for Wales Rail - Raawwwrrr! - 29/12/2018 14:01 Interesting to see that the new Liverpool lime St - Chester service takes exactly the same journey time as the Merseyrail Service. I wonder how this would compare fare wise. RE: Transport for Wales Rail - mikestone - 29/12/2018 18:59 (29/12/2018 11:46)boby32 Wrote: The Liverpool-Chester path is correct please ignore that. No - Chester-Crewe trains require to connect into xx.30 London services. The reason it currently doesn't is unit shortage. . It is interesting the unit for the morning Wrexham-Liverpool is shown to detach at Croes Newydd North Fork off the existing ECS - presumably the crossover must be in the overlap of the platform signal |
