Most of the times these days we hear the word Ryanair it usually is about trying to save the company money .
Ryanair are no different than any other - its just that they are up front with it.
I have just returned from Lanzarote flying with Thomas Cook. They wanted a staggering £14 per person each way to book seats in advance and charged £2 for a cup of tea in a paper cup.
Ryanair are considering a fat tax on fat people occupying excess room on there planes and the fatty surcharge will lower the prices of normal peoples plane tickets.
Think that Ryanair may come up against the disability rights commission on this one , this organisation does shirk its rights to the disabled , be aware not all want to be fat some have a genetic problem that makes them big.
Think most of the low cost carriers have been trying to charge the customer for use of wheelchairs from the airport building to the plane and vice versa.
Airports now have responsibility to assist passengers that require it for any disability. From surface transport to alongside aircraft. Not sure about charges arising from providing such services but I think ythe airport have to bear the costs.
